For the second time and well deserved: The ORION catalogue has once again been awarded the “Catalogue of the Year – B2C”
Flensburg, March 2025 – ORION celebrates for a second time: the Flensburg-based company has once again been awarded the prestigious title of “Catalogue of the Year 2025 – B2C” for its catalogue. The award, which is presented annually by Burda Druck and the Bundesverband E-Commerce und Versandhandel e. V. (bevh) (the German E-Commerce and Mail Order Association), among others, recognises outstanding catalogues in the categories B2C, B2B and digital catalogues. The entries are assessed based on more than 30 individual criteria. ORION won the title in 2021/2022 – now, less than five years later, this success has been repeated.
Modern implementation meets classic design elements
The jury particularly praised the innovative transfer of classic design elements into the digital era. The catalogue skilfully combines online viewing habits with print design – therefore creating a coherent overall concept that corresponds to current trends in the print sector.
Individualised approach as a highlight
ORION’s consistent integration of programmatic printing, which gives the catalogue a more personalised feel, was also particularly impressive. Every customer receives a personalised letter with product recommendations tailored to their interests. Three different versions of the catalogue – from modern-neutral to soft-BDSM – also guarantee a precisely tailored target audience approach and this therefore increases the relevance for customers.
