Dissatisfied with your sex life? Men, just iron the laundry more often and vacuum!
3 November is Housewives’ Day! And World Men’s Day. That can’t be a coincidence, can it? According to a study by the University of Alberta, it would not only be good for the household if men helped out more often: couples in which the housework is perceived as fairly distributed have more passionate relationships with more sex!
Talking about equality: The latest ORION Sex Report also shows that 62 percent of women who say they live in an equal relationship are happy with their sex life. If women perceive themselves to be living in non-equal relationships, only 23 percent said they were satisfied with their sex life. And that’s not all: according to the ORION Sex Report, women who describe their relationship as equal also have sex significantly more often – and desire and reality do not diverge nearly as much as in the case of women who see themselves in unequal relationships.
So what can be done for more equality in the household? Well, either the men simply take care of the laundry more often. Or they prepare the typical home cooking while their partner takes care of it. So all the tasks should be fairly distributed – and the name “home cooking” can’t be a coincidence, can it?
By the way, a Forsa survey from September 2021 showed that men are more dissatisfied with their sex lives than women: Among men, 40 percent said they were less satisfied or not satisfied at all. Among women, it was “only” 33 percent.
